The WBSAU will be offering public Pre-K for 12 students during the 2019-2020 school year through community partnerships at The Children’s Schoolhouse, Bath Area Family YMCA, and Head Start. To be eligible to apply for the any of the Pre-K programs, children must be residents of West Bath and must be 4 years old by October 15, 2019. Children will be awarded a placement through a lottery process during the week of May 20th. Parents will be notified of placement decisions on or by May 24th.
Students will be placed in programs via the lottery until all 12 spots are full, however program placement priority will be given to students who have previously been enrolled in a program and wish to remain there to allow for educational continuity. Any remaining student applications will be maintained in a waitlist.
Childcare (wrap-around care) before and after the morning Pre-K program can be purchased by families at the YMCA and The Children’s Schoolhouse.
